Clarity is key to a successful completion of any project. We want to make our cooperation as seamless as possible, so here’s an outline of how we work. It will also give you an idea of how resin bound flooring is applied. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Tell us what you have in mind – answering a few questions about your project will give us an outline of your idea. We ask about the size of the space, any special requirements like colours of patters (which can be designed according to your brief), whether you are thinking about using resin surface to cover your driveway, create footpaths in your garden, do you require underfloor heating, design a floor with a logo for your showroom or perhaps a feature wall.
We use the information to send you the estimate for the job – we also may have additional questions, should this be the case, we’ll contact you before giving you a quote.
When all information has been clarified and processed and the initial estimate is within your budget, we visit the site to confirm our estimate and start planning the job.
Once all is agreed, we’ll ask you to pay 50% of the quote. The reminder is payable upon completion. This is our way of giving you peace of mind and it’s our ‘satisfaction guarantee’, as you only pay when you are 100% satisfied with the effect of our stone surface.
Optional step – Design
Resin bound stone can be mixed in a variety of colours. We can design a pattern for your living room floor or kitchen, create a feature wall with your logo or a signature resin bound driveway. At this stage we would create a proposal and send you a visualisation of your resin bound surface for sign off.
On the agreed date* we come and pour the resin. The length of the installation depends on the size of the surface you want us to cover and the intricacy of the design. On average, however, we can cover up to 300m2 in a day. You have to add 24h for the material to set, after which it’s ready to use.
*The resin surface can be applied on all tough surface like asphalt, concrete, stone slabs, old paving; however, it needs to be dry for at least 12h before installation so at the time of the booking we’ll let you know how to protect the surface to make it ready. It may be that, due to the size of the area you want to cover with resin, protection against water is not feasible in which case we’ll have to amend our schedule.
